PAC is produced by the natural cotton short fibre with a series of a complicated chemical reaction. It has the good properties of high stability, the resistance of high-temperature resistance,high-acid,high-alkali,high-salt and small usage amount. Tasteless and non-toxic, easily soluble in cold and hot water.It is a kind of water-soluble organic polymer in Oil Drilling Industry and can be used in all water-based drilling mud including freshwater, seawater, and saturated saltwater etc. Mainly be used in offshore drilling and land deep well. In the low solids drilling fluids, it can greatly reduce the filtration loss and make the mud cake thin. It also has a strong inhibiting effect for the shale hydration.
Performance
1. High mud making rate.
2. The mud fluids in the High salt medium can inhibit the expansion and dispersion of clays and shales. So the wellbore damage (pollution) can be under control. To delay the time of expansion of hydration of the clays.
3. It has a good capacity for protective colloid.
4. Used in drilling fluids PAC can be used as an inhibitor and fluid loss agent.
5. The workover fluids made by PAC is low oil. So it can avoid the solids blocking the infiltration capacity of productive strata. The workover fluids made by PAC can protect the productive strata, can clean the good hole and also can resist the infiltration water and silts without bubbles002E
The fracturing fluid made by PAC has good solubility, speed gelation and strong prop-carrying capacity. It can have a better Fracturing effect in the stratum with low osmotic pressure.
